DESCRIPTIONThe SIS45V is a switching solenoid. Its designcorresponds to VDE standard 0580. The steelhousing has a zinc coated finish as standard.Static pressure tightness is 350 bars. Allo-rings are Viton. The solenoids are fixed tothe valve with four screws. Depending on theintended use, the solenoid can be suppliedwith a plug screw, or with integrated manualoverride. The connector plate corresponds toISO 4400 and DIN 43650.

funCtionWhen the solenoid is energised with the specified nominal voltage, the armature moves fromthe starting position of its stroke (s=5,5 mm) tothe end position (s=0 mm). The switching timeis essentially dependent on the application.The power stroke characteristics are designedto suit the requirements of hydraulic valves.AC versions include an electronic rectifierintegrated into the connector plate. APPLICATIONEssential for hydraulic directional and poppetvalves. Because of the risk of overheating, thesolenoid must never be used separately. Thelenght of the fixing screws depends on the basematerial of the body. An o-ring is used for thevalve seal. Information on screws and o-ringswill be found in the data sheets relating to thevalves concerned. Before changing the plugscrew or the screw with integrated manualoverride, care must be taken to ensure that thesolenoid is not under pressure.
