DESC1 (Detailed description)
The R-Series V RH5 rod-type sensors are designed for direct position
measurement in hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. With an operating
temperature of up to +85°C, excellent shock and vibration resistance, and a
pressure resistance of up to 800 bar, the RH5 sensor ensures extremely accurate
position measurement even under extreme conditions. The sensor's modular
design makes it easy to replace the sensor element and electronics with the
hydraulic circuit closed for service. This not only eliminates leaks, but also saves
on maintenance costs and significantly reduces downtime. It is available in
lengths from 25 to 7620 mm. The sensor is CE, UL/CUL, EAC and UKCA
certified.
DESC2 (Detailed description)
The SSI output provides an extremely stable measurement with a minimum
resolution of 0.1 µm. In addition, the sensor offers an asynchronous mode and
three different synchronous modes to match the measurement to the control
cycle. The sensor also provides linear extrapolation, allowing a cycle time of
100 μs or a data readout rate of up to 10 kHz to be achieved for any
measurement length of the sensor. The R-Series V-SSI can also detect and
output the difference between 2 magnets. When combined with the TempoLink
or TempoGate sensor assistant, additional information beyond position
measurement can be captured.
